Music Television has released a non-partisan, animated music video called "Stand And Choose" - created in cooperation with 12 major computer and video game publishers - featuring more than 50 video game characters encouraging young people to vote in the upcoming Presidential election. Animated icons making an appearance include the stars of The Sims, BloodRayne, Mortal Kombat, Sonic Heroes and Tomb Raider Lara Croft. The September issue of Play Magazine features Rayne on the cover and 8 page cover story inside that includes interviews, new screens and previously unreleased character art.

All major roles in the BloodRayne movie cast have now been announced. If you haven't already heard, Terminator 3 star Kristanna Loken will appear as Rayne on the big screen squaring off against Oscar winning actor Ben Kingsley who will play her nefarious father Kagan. In addition, Michael Madsen of Reservoir Dogs and Kill Bill fame, Michelle Rodriguez (Blue Crush, SWAT, The Fast and the Furious) and Matt Davis (Pearl Harbor, Sweet Home Alabama) will all play as members of the Brimstone Society.

BloodRayne: Skies Afire comic book releasing this December, then you're going to like the Comic Book Preview you can score when you pre-order BR2 at GameStop.com and EBGames.com. The preview includes 8 b&w pages from the comic book along with 8 more pages of exclusive behind-the-scenes material.

A playable demo of BloodRayne 2 is slated to appear on the November demo disc packed in with the Official Xbox Magazine. That issue hits newsstands in early October.

Echo 3 Worldwide will be launching the very first BloodRayne comic book this October in time for the launch of BloodRayne 2. Tentatively titled BloodRayne: Skies Afire, this comic series will feature penciling by Romano Molenaar (Purgatori, Lady Death, The Darkness and Witchblade), inking by Marco Galli (Aphrodite IX, Ripclaw, Witchblade, Captain America and Fantastic Four) and writing by Steven O'Connell (Tiger Wraith and The Nest) who is also a professional letterer.
